Paducah women arrested for drug and driving under the influence.

On September 14th at 10:13 a.m., a deputy with the McCracken County Sheriff's Department conducted a traffic stop on a vehicle for traffic violations at Hardees on Lone Oak Road.

The vehicle was driven by Marissa Timmons, 44. Timmons was suspected to be under the influence of alcohol. Timmons was subjected to a breathalyzer test and showed signs of impairment.

During the search of the vehicle, a bag containing suspected methamphetamine was found.

Timmons and passenger Jerrie Mcfarland of Paducah, Kentucky, were arrested and booked into the McCracken County Regional Jail.

Arrested: Marissa Timmons, 44, of Paducah, KY.

Charges: Operating a motor vehicle under the influence of a controlled substance 1m, Possession of a controlled substance 1st Grade 3rd or a more serious offense (methamphetamine) and no brake lights.

Arrested: Jerrie McFarland, 52, of Paducah, KY.

Charges: Possession of a Controlled Substance 1st Grade 1st Crime (methamphetamine).
