5 injured, including a 6-year-old girl, in alleged accident under the influence of alcohol

STACY, Minnesota — A six-year-old girl and four others were injured in a head-on collision in Stacy on Saturday.

According to the Chisago County Sheriff's Office, the accident occurred shortly after 10:30 a.m. on Stacy Trail near Falcon Avenue.

All five people involved in the accident required medical treatment. The six-year-old was flown to a trauma center, where she is in critical condition.

The other four were taken to nearby hospitals and are expected to survive.

Alcohol is suspected to have played a role in the accident. Police have arrested a man in connection with the incident.

The Chicago County Sheriff's Office is investigating.
