Is Selena Gomez trying to tell us something with her look on the 2024 Emmys red carpet?

Selena Gomez arrived at the 2024 Emmys Awards in full glamour and enjoyed her moment of success. The fourth season of her show, Only murders in the buildingis currently running, she is on the cover of Vanity Fairand she's nominated for her first Primetime Emmy tonight for her role as Mabel Mora. She's also a host and recently premiered a thrilling movie. Oh, and she's a billionaire.

Living her life to the fullest, Gomez hit the red carpet in a classic black evening gown with white crystal detailing at the halter neckline. The elegant dress ended in a dramatic trumpet skirt at the ankle, leaving a short but striking train. It looks remarkably similar to the dress she wore just days earlier at the Toronto Film Festival.

With so much bling at the neckline, no necklace was necessary. Instead, Gomez wore a pair of diamond drop earrings that matched her diamond tennis bracelets and cocktail rings. She forwent the elaborate updo in favor of a sleek, straight look that she wore parted down the middle and cascading down her back.

Gomez skipped the 2024 VMAs, but she's hardly been out of the picture. She's been seen in similar black power outfits in her recent appearances, such as the TIFF premiere of Emilia Perez in a sparkling black cocktail dress and the season four premiere of Only murderswhich featured another black halter neck cocktail dress.

And now, Selena Gomez has unveiled her latest version of her new “It” silhouette at the 2024 Emmys. We're sensing a theme… and we're not mad about it.
