Shōgun, Hacks and Baby Reindeer top the winners list

The best talents of television met at the 76th.^th annual Primetime Emmy Awards.

Father-son duo Eugene and Dan Levy hosted this year’s star-studded ceremony, which featured a monologue with plenty of funny digs at each other and a Schitt’s Creek Reunion with her film family.

Popular shows throughout the night, including Shogun And The bear took home a lot of awards.

Shoguna newcomer to the awards circuit, it garnered an impressive 25 nominations and won for Outstanding Drama Series, while its stars Hiroyuki Sanada and Anna Sawai also won in the Lead Actor – Drama Series category.

The bear dominated the comedy acting categories, with Jeremy Allen White, Liza Colón-Zayas, Ebon Moss-Bachrach, Jamie Lee Curtis and Jon Bernthal taking the big wins. Hacking took home the award for Outstanding Comedy Series, and Jean Smart won her third award for her role in the show.

Baby reindeer won the Best Mini- or Anthology Series category, and its star Richard Gadd scored in the Best Actor and Best Screenplay categories, while Jessica Gunning won the Best Supporting Actress award.
