Police say a motorcyclist died in an accident in Spartanburg County

A motorcyclist was killed in a crash in Spartanburg County, South Carolina, on Sunday evening, according to Master Trooper Gary Miller of the South Carolina Highway Patrol. The crash occurred just before 8:45 p.m. on SC Highway 9 near Victoria Drive, Miller said. According to Miller, the driver of the motorcycle was traveling southbound when the motorcycle left the road and struck a curb and railing. The Spartanburg County Coroner's Office has not yet determined the victim's identity.
