Leon High School student arrested for threatening behavior

Another Leon High School student was arrested and expelled from school Monday for sending written threats to another student, according to an email from the school's principal.

This is the third security incident in five days at the downtown Tallahassee high school.

“While all of these incidents are very disturbing, rest assured that we do not take any reports for granted and that we quickly and thoroughly investigate every report and tip we receive – seven days a week,” said Leon School Superintendent Michael W. Bryan.

Bryan said the incident was unrelated to the arrest of a student on Friday by the Leon County Sheriff's Office. The office said it was notified by the FBI about an intercepted Snapchat threat related to Leon.
