Latto launches $10,000 Brokey Challenge after being accused of discriminating against people with regular jobs

Lattice is giving away a five-figure sum to one lucky fan!

On Sunday (September 15), the Atlanta rapper spoke to X and set the record straight about her song “Brokey” from her third studio album. Sugar-honey iced teaBecause of the lyrics, some have accused Lattice to target people who work outside the entertainment industry and may be living a life on a tight budget. In the song Latticeborn Alyssa Stephens, raps,

“If a real man holds you, baby, you should drown
You never fuck with the boss, bitch, I kicked you out (kicked you out)
You won't catch me in shark boots, you burned them all out (burned out)
Sluts have to wait until their birthday to leave town
“Brokey”

But according to Latticeshe didn't mean to slander “hard” working people with normal jobs. Apparently the accusation has upset the 25-year-old so much that she is now holding a Brokey contest in which the winner will win $10,000. The exciting news: Lattice wrote,

I hate that you all think I called hard working people broke. so I have $10,000 for whoever makes the best video of their work and I'll fly you out to be in the music video… you don't have to wait until your birthday to get out of town anymore. Tag me and use the hashtag #Broken so I can see them all”

The submissions have already been received and fans have created funny everyday videos with Lattices melody to present their workflows.
