Portage County Sheriff posts controversial statement on Facebook

Sheriff Bruce D. Zuchowski, who took office in 2021, made the remarks in Facebook posts shared on two different accounts on the evening of September 13.

PORTAGE COUNTY, Ohio – The Portage County Sheriff apparently asked residents to record the addresses of residents who publicly show their support for presidential candidate Kamala Harris.

Sheriff Bruce D. Zuchowski, who took office in 2021, made the remarks in Facebook posts shared on two different accounts on the evening of September 13.

“When people ask me… What will happen if the fickle, laughing hyena wins?? I say… write down all the addresses of the people who had her signs in their yards! So… if the illegal human 'locusts' (who she supports!) need a place to live… we already have the addresses of their new families… who supported their arrival!” Zuchowski wrote.

When people ask me…What will happen if the jumping, laughing hyena wins?, I say…write it all down…
