Eleven-year-old boy dies in possible subway surfing incident in Park Slope

BROOKLYN, NY — An 11-year-old boy was killed by a subway car at the G stop on 4th Avenue-9th Street in Park Slope around 10 a.m. Monday morning, according to police.

Police believe the victim was surfing the subway at the time of the incident. The victim was pronounced dead at the scene.

The incident is currently under investigation. The boy's name has not been released as the family has not yet been notified.
