Chrissy Teigen and John Legend's stunning then and now photos to mark their 18th anniversary

Chrissy Teigen and John Legend are celebrating their 18th anniversary and it's clear that the couple is still completely in love with each other after four children and over a decade of marriage.

The couple took to social media to share their love for each other. Chrissy shared an old photo of the duo from 2008, where they looked almost identical to how they do today. The model shared a photo of her and John taken by @shot_by_shaene.

Dressed in a light grey suit and white shirt, John smiled at the camera while Chrissy wore her dark brown hair long and wavy, wore a form-fitting black mini dress and held a silver bag. It looked like they hadn't aged, even though the photo was taken 16 years ago.

The photographer captioned the photo: “I took this photo of you guys on Friday night June 13th 2008 when it all started,” adding: “Now we are 18 years old. Congratulations for staying together all this time.”

Chrissy chimed in as she reposted the photo, writing, “Oh, puppies!” While the 38-year-old appeared to be referencing her youthful looks in the photo, it was clear that she still had the same glow even after 16 years.

The couple met in 2006 on the set of the music video for his song “Stereo,” in which the model played his lover. After dating for four years, they got engaged in December 2011 during a trip to the Maldives and married in a romantic ceremony in Italy in 2013.

The Lake Como event was famously decadent, but the couple had to postpone their wedding vows due to a storm that delayed the arrival of John's family for the wedding at their destination.

Chrissy wore three stunning dresses – the first was a strapless Vera Wang ceremony gown with an open back and a tulle skirt fit for a princess. She then changed into a white mermaid gown, complete with a sheer organza shirtwaist and micro-pleated bodice, before slipping into a red mermaid gown.

John famously dedicated his song “All of Me” to his wife – and the romantic ballad has since become an integral part of weddings all over the world and marks the first dance of many happy couples.

Since their marriage, the couple has had four children: Luna, Miles, Esti and Wren.

Chrissy said of her full house, “The hardest part for me is making sure the older ones feel loved and cared for and just as special as the babies.”

“There are a lot of diapers to change and feed, and it seems like you're coddling these two little babies and they're not getting enough. I think any parent of multiple children can understand that you want to make sure they still feel loved.”
