Milwaukee man arrested after fatal motorcycle crash in West Milwaukee

A 26-year-old Milwaukee man died and the driver of an SUV was arrested after the SUV collided with a motorcycle in West Milwaukee Monday morning, according to West Milwaukee police.

At 5:56 a.m., West Milwaukee Police responded to an area near the intersection of West National Avenue and Miller Park Way for a report of a motorcycle crash. Milwaukee Fire and Police also responded to the scene.

Despite life-saving efforts by the Milwaukee Fire Department, the motorcyclist was pronounced dead at the scene of the accident.

According to West Milwaukee police, the motorcyclist was traveling north on Miller Park Way while the driver of the SUV – a 27-year-old Milwaukee man – was traveling south on Brewers Boulevard (the same street but with a different name north of National Avenue).
