Yakima police search for teen accused of May 24 murder | News

YAKIMA, Wash. – Police are asking for help in locating 17-year-old Diego Ramirez, who is charged with first-degree murder in the shooting death of his cousin Jordan Brock.

According to a probable cause document, a call came in at 6:14 p.m. on May 24 reporting that Brock had been shot at a home in the 900 block of Pleasant Avenue.

Witnesses to the shooting said Brock and Ramirez had an argument, after which Ramirez pointed a gun at Brock. Moments later, another argument broke out between the two, during which Ramirez allegedly shot Brock twice.

Officers found Brock unconscious at home and took him to a hospital. A search of the house revealed that Ramirez and his younger brother had run away.

According to court documents, Brock died of his injuries the next day. An autopsy by the King County Medical Examiner's Office determined it was a suicide.

According to YPD, an arrest warrant for Ramirez for second-degree murder has been out since May 31, but his whereabouts are unknown.
