South Windsor man arrested for domestic violence

SOUTH WINDSOR – A South Windsor man was taken into custody for disorderly conduct following a domestic violence incident.

Merrick O. Wilson, 53, allegedly shoved the victim during the altercation at 3:15 p.m. on Sept. 14. Wilson was issued a misdemeanor summons and is scheduled to appear in Manchester Superior Court at 9 a.m. today.

In another incident that same day, South Windsor Police arrested Daniel U. at 4:35 p.m.

Pugliares, 35, of Rocky Hill, charged with attempted theft.

Pugliares was reportedly caught by Target's loss prevention employees attempting to hide trading cards.

His case was processed and he was released on $1,000 no-bond bail.

His court date is scheduled for October 2nd at 9 a.m.

Additionally, 41-year-old Eric D. Kennedy of Vernon was arrested for violating several protective orders.

Kennedy, who turned himself in to authorities at police headquarters at 7:12 p.m. on September 14, is alleged to have driven past the victim's residence on August 29 and made contact with them on September 4, thereby violating the warrants.

After processing, he was released on $2,000 bail and is due in court at 9 a.m. today.
