After months of investigating the rapper, authorities charged Sean “Diddy” Combs with sex trafficking, organized crime conspiracy and more.

Combs was arrested by federal agents on Monday based on a sealed indictment, the U.S. Attorney's Office for the Southern District of New York confirmed. In the indictment unsealed on Tuesday, the rapper was accused of conspiracy to commit organized crime, sex trafficking by force, fraud or coercion, and transportation for the purpose of prostitution.

“He is in good spirits. He is confident,” said Combs' attorney Marc Agnifilo outside the courthouse on Tuesday morning. “He is tackling this head-on, just as he has tackled every challenge in his life. And he is not guilty. He is innocent of these charges. He will, of course, plead not guilty. He will fight this with all his energy and all his strength and the full confidence of his lawyers. And I expect a long fight with a good outcome for Mr. Combs.”

“I will fight with all my might for his release, and he should be released,” Agnifilo said. “After everything he has done and for coming here voluntarily.”

Authorities alleged that Diddy operated a criminal enterprise through his companies, which included Bad Boy Entertainment, Combs Enterprises and Combs Global, among others. He used “violence, use of firearms, threats of violence, coercion, and verbal, emotional, physical and sexual abuse” to satisfy his sexual desires, according to the unsealed indictment obtained by Fox News Digital.

Combs and his associates “intimidated, threatened and lured female victims into Combs's environment, often under the guise of a romantic relationship. Combs then allegedly used violence, threats of violence and coercion to persuade the victims to engage in extended sexual acts with male sex workers, which Combs referred to, among other things, as 'freak offs.'”

The singer of “Finna Get Loose” is said to have transported male sex workers across state and country borders to have consensual sex with his female victims.

Combs “physically, emotionally and verbally abused” his victims to force them to participate in the “freak-offs,” court documents say. Diddy also gave the sex workers and female victims drugs to facilitate sexual encounters.

“Freak Offs were elaborate and produced sex performances that Combs arranged, directed, masturbated during, and often electronically recorded,” authorities said. Diddy often administered intravenous fluids to his victims after “freak offs” to help them recover from physical exertion and drug use, the indictment states.

Diddy is said to have maintained control over his victims by promising them career opportunities or threatening to take away those same opportunities, denying them financial support, controlling the victim's residence, and more.

“Combs also used the sensitive, embarrassing and incriminating recordings he made during the freak offs as collateral to ensure the victims' continued obedience and silence,” the indictment states.

During raids on Diddy’s home in March, authorities seized “Freak-off supplies” and three AR-15s with obscured serial numbers, court documents say.

FOX NATION SPECIAL EXAMINES THE INVESTIGATION AND RAID OF SEAN “DIDDY” COMBS

The “I'll Be Missing You” singer was arrested in the lobby of a New York hotel, a source familiar with the matter told Fox News Digital.

In a statement to Fox News Digital, Combs' lawyers sharply criticized the charges, calling them an “unjustified prosecution.”

“Sean 'Diddy' Combs is a music icon, a self-made entrepreneur, a loving family man and a proven philanthropist who has spent the last 30 years building an empire, adoring his children and advocating for the advancement of the black community. He is an imperfect human being, but he is not a criminal,” Marc Agnifilo said in a statement.

“To Mr. Combs' credit, he has been consistently cooperative with this investigation and voluntarily relocated to New York last week in anticipation of these charges,” the statement continued. “Please reserve judgment until you know all of the facts. These are the actions of an innocent man who has nothing to hide and he looks forward to clearing his name in court.”

In connection with a federal human trafficking investigation, Department of Homeland Security agents searched Combs' homes in Los Angeles and Miami on March 25, officials confirmed to Fox News Digital at the time.

Combs is facing a mountain of lawsuits after several women accused him of sexual assault starting in November 2023. Cassie, known as Casandra Ventura, claimed in a lawsuit that she had to endure Combs' “violent behavior and deranged demands” for “over a decade.” Combs and his ex-girlfriend settled out of court a day later.

Shortly before New York State's Adult Survivors Act expired in December, three more women filed claims.

Combs was also sued by the music producer Rodney “Lil Rod” Jones in February. Jones accused the rapper in his lawsuit, which was obtained by Fox News Digital, of forcing him to perform sexual acts with prostitutes.

There are still several lawsuits pending against him for sexual abuse, all of which he denies.

Due to his legal problems, Combs resigned as chairman of his cable channel Revolt in November.

“This decision helps ensure that Revolt remains unwaveringly focused on its mission to create meaningful content for culture and amplify the voices of all Black people in this country and across the African diaspora,” the network said in a statement.
