Free agent running back Kareem Hunt could be a good choice for fantasy football managers in Week 3.

NFL insider Jordan Schultz reported Tuesday that Hunt is expected to sign with the Kansas City Chiefs, where he will replace injured running back Isiah Pacheco.

Hunt led the NFL with 1,327 rushing yards during his rookie season with the Chiefs in 2017 before being released in 2018.

Pacheco is expected to be out between six and eight weeks after suffering a fibula injury on Sunday, according to ESPN Adam Schefter.

It's not yet clear what place Hunt will occupy in the Chiefs' lineup alongside UDFA rookie Carson Steele and veteran Samaje Perin, but all three will likely see more action in Pacheco's absence.
