Kendall Jenner shows off her college bartending style in a varsity tequila t-shirt and jeans

Kendall Jenner is on the road for another round of her 818 Tequila College Tour: a pop-up traveling party that visits college campuses across the country to promote the model's liquor brand. She's already performed the tour at several schools, including the University of Alabama, the University of Georgia and the University of Florida in February. This week, however, Jenner and her newly blonde locks finally made it to one of the SEC's most spirited schools: Texas A&M University.

Honestly, I'm not sure how a younger version of me would have reacted if one of the highest-paid professional models in the world showed up in my small college town and took over my favorite bar for an evening. But I've long harbored a theory that celebrities—particularly those who rose to fame at a young age—romanticize college because it represents one of the few experiences that the elite can't really buy or replicate later. Remember the personalized University of Tennessee sweatshirt Drake wore in 2018? Miley Cyrus and Patrick Schwarzenegger smooching at a USC football game in 2014? Beyoncé incorporating the homecoming traditions of Historically Black Colleges and Universities into her earth-shattering 2018 Coachella performance?

Now we can add Jenner, who is pouring shots at a college bar in College Station, Texas, to that list. She even wore an 818-style athletic department T-shirt and librarian-style glasses for the promotional appearance. As a finishing touch, she stuck a pencil in her slicked-back honey-blonde updo for Major Naturally blonde Vibes.

Jenner's college tour follows her recent appearance at New York Fashion Week, where she opened the show for Maison Alaïa and sat courtside at the US Open in revamped tennis whites. Before heading out of town, however, the model visited celebrity hairstylist Jenna Perry for a transformative cut and color. Jenner debuted her new look with an Instagram photo dump on Wednesday, September 11.

“It took me two days to give her this beautiful golden blonde color,” Perry said. fashion“She's really inspired by the '90s and currently by Caroline Bessette-Kennedy.”

Jenner isn't the only one experimenting with honey blonde hair. Zendaya, Kim Kardashian, Selena Gomez, Julia Roberts and Rihanna have all opted for golden blonde hair dyes and highlights in the past two years. Perhaps Kendall's sister Kylie Jenner will be next to try out the trend when she revives her King Kylie era of teal hair and lipstick-lined lips.
