Phaedra Parks shines in the trailer for “Dancing with the Stars”

The competition starts soon and Dancing with the stars is releasing a new trailer in which all the celebrities reveal their goals for the season. And as always: Phaedra Parks jumps off the screen.

The reality TV star is celebrating her glamorous comeback on the Real Housewives of Atlanta. But first, she's making a pit stop on the dance floor with the noble goal of winning the coveted disco ball trophy.

Phaedra Parks is fully involved

In the new trailer, Phaedra makes her intentions crystal clear. Dubbed Reality Royalty, she glows in the black and silver fringed bodysuit as she dances alongside her partner Val Chmerkovskiy. She looks focused and ready.

“I may be a traitor,” she joked, referring to her appearance on the Peacock crime drama. “But I'm going to rock that dance floor.”

The trailer features all of the celebrity contestants, including Eric Roberts, Anna Delvey and Tori Spelling, to name a few. And each of them looks ready and raring to go. It definitely promises to be a really exciting season.

And as for Phaedra's motivation to compete? It's simple. Not only does she want to win, because she's competitive by nature, but she also wants to impress her sons.

“Hopefully I'll become a better dancer so my sons don't think I'm so stupid and lame,” she said. Ah, every parent's goal.

Phaedra is definitely on her way to proving that she's anything but lame. This year has been one for the history books and she's proven that her tenacity won't allow her to stay out of the spotlight for long. Fresh off her appearance on Traitor's, it will certainly be interesting to see how she fares on another competition show. After all, she used several tactics to help out around the castle at Traitor's, so maybe she'll have a few tricks up her sleeve for the dance floor as well.

In any case, she is more than ready. “Don't let the Bratz doll's cute face fool you,” she said. “I'm here to get the mirror ball.”
