According to West Springfield police, a fight broke out at The Big E on Saturday night.

Police arrested James Stanley of Haverhill, Massachusetts, and Levi Stanley of Amherst, New Hampshire, at the fairgrounds, the department said on social media.

Police said they arrived at the fairgrounds around 5 p.m. Saturday. The post said officers found several victims with “various injuries.” Some were taken to a local hospital, police said. However, a large group of people fled the fairgrounds when officers arrived, police said.

Officers arrested the two suspects near Memorial Avenue, police said. Both are charged with disturbing the peace, criminal damage and assault. They also face a $1,200 fine, the post said. James Stanley is also charged with robbery. Police said he stole items from at least one other person involved in the fight.

Representation for James and Levi was not listed in court documents and The Big E did not immediately respond to a request for comment.
