Week 6 Results and Scorecards | Dana White's Contender Series, Season 8

Flyweight Nicolle Caliari punched her ticket to the UFC with a first-round submission win over Corinne Laframboise, while bantamweight prospect Josias Musasa showed enough with his split decision win to convince UFC CEO Dana White to add him to the team as well. Returning competitor Yousri Belgaroui picked up a third-round win, but it wasn't enough to impress White, but Navajo Stirling's second-round knockout of Phillip Latu to close out the night certainly was.

In addition to the fights that took place, there was also one that didn't: Quemel Ottoni, the first man to beat current UFC light heavyweight champion Alex Pereira in MMA, pulled out of his fight with Kody Steele while his hands were being bandaged. It's the first time anyone has simply opted out of the walk on Tuesday night, so Steele will have to get a new date later this season.

On Tuesday night, another group of five hopefuls entered the fray inside the UFC APEX with the goal of impressing the UFC leadership and earning a spot on the roster, and by the time the evening was over, several participants had achieved their goal.

Returning lightweight Ahmad Hassanzada, 22-year-old middleweight Ateba Gautier, towering heavyweight Talisson Teixeira and second-generation boxer Elijah Smith all impressed White and the matchmakers enough to be called into the Octagon.

That's four new additions to the roster, bringing the total for Season 8 to 24 after six weeks, with three of this week's four athletes all 24 years old or younger.

Here's a closer look at the process.
