Trial date set for teenager charged with murder of his family

The trial date has been set for a teenager accused of murdering his mother and siblings in a Luton tower block.

The bodies of Juliana Prosper, 48, Giselle Prosper, 13, and Kyle Prosper, 16, were found Friday in an apartment near Wauluds Bank Drive in Leabank.

Nicholas Prosper, 18, from Leabank, appeared at Luton Crown Court via video link from prison wearing a grey tracksuit and was charged with murder.

He was remanded in custody and will appear before the same court on December 5 for a guilty plea and trial preparation hearing.

Judge Michael Simon said it would take time to prepare an expert report on the defendant.

In addition, pathological reports and analyses of forensic material had to be prepared.
