Chelsea school bus accident forces students to change to another bus

An accident involving a school bus in Shelby County caused some students to be delayed on their way home. Shelby County Schools said a school bus from Chelsea Park Elementary was involved in an accident off of Old Highway 280 near Hargis Drive in Chelsea. That's north of US-280 and was apparently 1-2 miles from the school. Emergency calls indicated the accident occurred around 3:15 p.m. The school system said no injuries were reported and crews were working to transfer students to another school bus to continue the route and get the children home.
