Nebraska defeats Stanford on Wednesday in Lincoln

No. 5 Nebraska hosted No. 2 Stanford in a top-five matchup in Lincoln on Wednesday. The Huskers had never beaten the Cardinals at the Devaney Center. Nebraska took an early lead in the second set and Beason could only extend that lead with a “BIG swing.” The Cardinals took the lead, but not for long, as a mid-court violation tied the score at 13-13. Stanford took the lead again, but Nebraska's Andi Jackson was able to retake it with a kill. Beason was back at it and closed out another set. Nebraska won set two 25-22. Check out Murray's incredible performance in the third set. Lindsay Krause made a huge swing to increase the Huskers' lead to 9-5. Krause came back in great fashion. She closed out the game and grabbed a 25-14 victory in the third set. The Huskers swept the Cardinals off the court.
