Man arrested at Gwinnett County middle school for exposing himself in line for cars

ATLANTA, Georgia (Atlanta News First) – Police have arrested a man who was allegedly seen exposing himself to cars as they pulled into line at Lanier Middle School in Gwinnett County Wednesday morning, according to a letter the school's principal sent to parents.

“While this behavior is concerning, the individual did not approach or threaten any students,” wrote Principal Bryce Fulcher.

Fulcher thanked Gwinnett County police officers and school security for the quick arrest of the man, whose identity has not yet been determined.

“We understand that situations like this can be upsetting, but I want to assure you that the safety of our students and staff is always our top priority,” Fulcher wrote. “Our staff, SROs and local law enforcement partners are committed to ensuring our school remains a safe environment for everyone.”

Fulcher urged parents to inform school administrators if they or their children see or hear “anything disturbing and/or a threat to our school community.”

He reminded parents that they can report their concerns anonymously through GCPS Tips, the school district's mobile app, or via web browser at //P3Campus.com/5105. Apple users can download GCPS Tips through the App Store and Android users can find it on Google Play.

Parents can also share their concerns anonymously by texting “GCPS” to 738477.
