Deputies search for Whisett man accused of murder

GUILFORD COUNTY, NC — The Guilford County Sheriff’s Office (GCSO) is searching for a man accused of first-degree murder.

Alvino R. Wilson, 45, is accused of killing Shaunta Jones, 36, at 12:15 a.m. on September 16.

Officers from the Robeson County Sheriff's Office responded to a home in St. Pauls where a shooting had occurred, where Jones was found dead, according to officers.

According to GCSO, Wilson is considered armed and dangerous.

Anyone with information on Wilson's whereabouts is asked to call 911 or the Robeson County Sheriff's Office at 910-671-3100 or 910-671-3170.
