Metallica announces tour with Limp Bizkit for 2025. Buy tickets

Metallica leaves no stone unturned on their “M72 Tour”.

Originally announced in November 2022 (!), the Rock Hall of Fame members have just added a third year of performances to their ongoing tour in support of their latest album, “72 Seasons.”

This time, James Hetfield, Kirk Hammett and Co. are hosting six “No Repeat Weekends” – either Thursday and Saturday or Friday and Sunday shows with different setlists and opening acts – as well as six “One Night Only” concerts.

The closest No Repeat Weekend to New York is Friday, May 23 at Lincoln Financial Field in Philadelphia, featuring Limp Bizkit and Ice Nine Kills. Sunday, May 25 features Pantera and Suicidal Tendencies.

A month earlier, the “Enter Sandman” rockers have scheduled a “one night only” gig at the JMA Wireless Dome in Syracuse on Saturday, April 19. Pantera and Suicidal Tendencies will perform as special guests that evening.

According to Consequence, “these one-off concerts promise the full production of the tour and a huge round stage setup.”

In August 2023, New York Post resident metalhead Ryan Murphy attended two “M72” concerts at MetLife Stadium and said, “Metallica played everything you wanted to hear over the two nights, with no repetition.”

“Even though they were promoting their new album,” he continued, “they played all the fan favorites.”

Fans can purchase tickets for all upcoming M72 shows on websites like Vivid Seats, with the official on-sale launch for the 2025 shows being Friday, September 27.

Vivid Seats is a secondary market ticket sales platform. Prices may be higher or lower than face value depending on demand.

They have a 100% Buyer Guarantee which means your transaction is safe and secure and delivery will be made before the event.
