Two Lockport drug dealers arrested in drug investigation – Lafourche Parish Sheriff’s Office

Lafourche Parish Sheriff Craig Webre announced that drug agents arrested two men for drug trafficking in the Lockport area. Jude Davaine, 28, and Kobi Chiasson, 24, both of Lockport, are each charged with multiple counts of drug trafficking.

Agents initiated investigations into Davaine and Chiasson and were initially able to obtain arrest warrants for Davaine for distribution of fentanyl and heroin and for Chiasson for distribution of fentanyl, heroin and ketamine. During the course of the investigation, agents also obtained search warrants for Davaine's residence on Crescent Avenue and Chiasson's residence on Ethel Street, both in Lockport. Assisted by officers from the Lockport Police Department, agents conducted searches at both residences and recovered evidence that supported the investigation.

Davaine was arrested and charged with three counts of trafficking in heroin, two counts of trafficking in fentanyl and possession of drug paraphernalia. Bail is set at $200,000.

Chiasson was arrested and charged with trafficking heroin, fentanyl and ketamine. Bail is set at $100,000.
