FIRST ALERT WEATHER – The first day of fall won’t feel like this!

COLUMBIA, SC (WIS) – Highs will rise this weekend as fall begins on Sunday with temperatures climbing to just over 95 degrees!

Headlines of the first warning

· Scattered fog tomorrow morning.

Only a 20 percent chance of isolated storms on Friday.

· Dry and hot this weekend!

Summary of the first warning

Tonight there is a chance of fog in the early morning hours. Lows will be around 67 degrees with partly cloudy skies.

A high pressure area is forming from the west. This will push temperatures above 30 degrees on Friday and, given the remaining humidity, we cannot rule out a 20 percent chance of rain showers and thunderstorms, especially in the afternoon.

Saturday and Sunday will be warm and dry. Expect partly cloudy skies on Saturday with temperatures between 30 and 35 degrees. On Sunday we'll have temperatures around 35 degrees and mostly sunny skies. Sunday is the first day of fall, it just won't feel like it!

On Monday and Tuesday we can expect temperatures between 30 and 35 degrees with partly cloudy skies. The high pressure will keep the moisture away.

Friday: A mix of clouds and sunshine. Highs around 30 degrees.

Saturday: Mostly sunny. Maximum temperatures around 30 degrees.

Sunday: Just a few clouds. Warm, with highs around 91 degrees.

Monday: Over 30 degrees with partly cloudy skies.

Tuesday: Mid 80s with sun and clouds.
