New documents reveal the horrific extent of Matt Gaetz's creepy sex scandal

According to new court documents, Congressman Matt Gaetz attended a sex party with a 17-year-old girl.

The court records contain sealed affidavits from three eyewitnesses that say the party took place at the Florida home of lobbyist Chris Dorworth, who is also a friend of Gaetz, NOTUS reported Friday. The documents were part of a civil lawsuit Dorworth filed in 2023. Dorworth eventually dropped the lawsuit, but Dorworth's lawyers filed the documents in federal court to try to recover legal fees.

One of the witnesses said in an affidavit that the teenager, who was a high school student at the time, was naked; that the partygoers were engaging in “sexual activity” and that the partygoers were using alcohol, cocaine, ecstasy and marijuana. Testimony from the witness and two other women, one of whom was Gaetz's girlfriend at the time, confirmed that the congressman was at the party. A digital forensic expert also confirmed activity from Gaetz's cellphone at Dorworth's home.

According to NOTUS, this is the first time “public court records have referenced sworn statements alleging that the congressman attended one of the long-rumored parties linked to an alleged underage sex scandal.” Previous details of Gaetz's involvement, such as reported Venmo transactions that allegedly showed Gaetz paying his friend Joel Greenberg to arrange sex with young women, have not been released. Greenberg was convicted in 2021 of multiple charges, including fraud and sex trafficking, and is currently serving an 11-year prison sentence.

Gaetz is currently facing an investigation by the House Ethics Committee into his alleged activities, and one woman has already step forward She claimed he paid her for sex. An earlier Justice Department investigation resulted in Gaetz avoiding federal charges, although Greenberg was convicted after a plea deal.
