State police seek information on fatal shooting and crash on I-95 in Delaware County

Pennsylvania State Police on Friday asked the public for information about a fatal shooting and subsequent crash that occurred on I-95 last week.

Investigators say Joshua Waltz hit debris on I-95 near Ridley Township last Friday night and his car stalled on the shoulder of the 476 on-ramp.

Shortly before Waltz's car became disabled, investigators believe Clinton Martin was on his way home from work when his car was shot at by another vehicle.

Waltz was standing near the rear of his car when the injured Martin crashed into a concrete barrier on the right side of the highway and then hit Waltz, according to investigators.

Martin's family contacted Pennsylvania State Police on Friday and described Martin as a “nice guy” who worked his way up to a managerial position at Dollar Tree.

“We are heartbroken and still cannot comprehend that our son is not coming home,” Martin's mother told reporters.

State police are offering a $4,000 reward to anyone with information leading to an arrest.
