Man accused of killing 2 teenagers in Flint shooting

FLINT, Mich. (WNEM) – A 19-year-old was arrested and charged in the deaths of two teenagers in June.

On June 26, 2024, at 1:30 a.m., Flint Police responded to a shooting in the 1300 block of Banbury Place.

According to police, officers found two victims, 13-year-old Dontavis Moore and 15-year-old Dominique Ward.

Moore was taken to a local hospital where he was pronounced dead, police said. Ward was found dead at the scene.

Investigators said Ryan Davis was arrested for the shooting. Davis is charged with:

  • Two counts of premeditated murder
  • Three cases of assault with intent to murder
  • Two cases of discharges in or on a building resulting in death
  • Seven cases of illegal use of firearms
  • Crimes related to membership in a gang
  • Using a computer to commit a crime
  • Carrying a concealed weapon
