“The most disgusting, bloody, and heinous thing I have ever seen” – First reactions to ‘Terrifier 3’ at Fantastic Fest!

Damien Leones Terrifier 3 had its world premiere at Fantastic party last night, leaving the audience in shock and awe. The first reactions promise disgusting bloodshed, praise the performances of David Howard Thornton And Lauren LaVerapraise Damien Leone's direction and make fun of Art the Clown's expanded lore.

“Terrifier 3 “might just be the bloodiest film ever to hit a multiplex,” enthuses Fangoria editor-in-chief Phil Nobile Jr. “David Howard Thornton has a blast, he's funnier than ever as Art; Lauren LaVera is put to the test. Perhaps the most physically demanding final girl since Marilyn Burns.”

“Terrifier 3 “blew the damn roof off,” claims Cob. “Gonzo slasher horror at its best. Packed with some of the most fantastically diabolical murders ever put to the screen (holy shit). The shower scene will go down in history. We have a new contender for best horror film of the year.”

“Well, holy shit,” exclaims Preston Barta, a member of the Critics Choice Association. “Damien Leone just painted his Sistine Chapel on canvas with blood and guts. Lauren LaVera is amazing.”

Spencer Charnas of Ice Nine Kills, who created an official song and music video for the film, said: “Holy…shit. Nothing can prepare you for the wonderful brutality I just saw on screen.” Terrifier 3 is one of the most evil films I've seen in years. I want to see it again.”

“Many horror films aim to transgress, to shock and disgust, but this one actually succeeds,” warns Jacob Hall in his review for Slash Film. “It pushes your buttons with such deadly force that your internal machinery breaks down – you can't believe what you're seeing. You can never accuse this film or this series of taking the easy route or softening its edges to provide a safer, more enjoyable experience. Here is a horror film that calls itself dangerous and actually delivers on its promise.”
