2 people arrested after break-in at Peoria Dollar General

PEORIA (25News Now) – Peoria police have arrested two men suspected of being responsible for a break-in at a Dollar General early Friday morning.

The suspects, 18-year-old Desean E. Jackson Jr. and 32-year-old Kwand J. Presswood, are accused of burglary, criminal damage and resisting police.

At around 2:45 a.m., officers were called to the Dollar General in the 2000 block of W. Forrest Hill Avenue. When they arrived, police found broken glass in front of the store.

An investigation led Peoria police to the suspects, who attempted to flee on foot but were caught and taken into custody.

The suspects were subsequently taken to the Peoria County Jail.
