NO STUDENTS. NEW ON WLWT: A TEENAGER IS DEAD AFTER A MOTORCYCLE ACCIDENT IN CLERMONT COUNTY. IT HAPPENED THIS AFTERNOON AROUND TWO ON SMITH ROAD IN GOSHEN TOWNSHIP. STATE POLICE SAY THE MOTORCYCLE WENT OFF THE ROAD, HIT A STREAM AND THEN OVERTURNED.

A boy died in a motorcycle crash in Goshen Township on Friday afternoon. The crash occurred just before 2 p.m. on Smith Road. According to police, the boy was riding a 2003 Honda motorcycle northbound on Smith Road when it left the right side of the road, struck a drain and overturned. The driver was wearing a helmet at the time of the crash. Emergency responders took the boy, who suffered serious injuries, to Bethesda North Hospital. The victim was later taken to the University of Cincinnati Medical Center, where he succumbed to his injuries. The Ohio State Highway Patrol was assisted at the scene by Goshen Township Police and Fire Departments. The crash remains under investigation by the OSP.
