Fatal accident on Interstate 40, closed towards Big-I

A fatal crash on Interstate 40 has closed eastbound traffic in Albuquerque. Lanes have since reopened. The crash occurred near the Big-I at mile marker 159. ALBUQUERQUE, NM —

A fatal accident on Interstate 40 led to the closure of eastbound traffic in Albuquerque. The lanes have now reopened.

The accident occurred near Big-I at mile 159. Police closed lanes near the accident scene.
