Poolesville Day Information: Free Shuttles and Road Closures

Ride On will be offering a free shuttle service during the Poolesville Day Festival on Saturday, September 21st from 9am to 4pm. The 24 hour shuttle service will be available from four parking lots.

Shuttle pick-up locations

1. Parking lot of the Catholic Church Lady of Presentation
2. K2 Café near W. Willard Road and Wootton Avenue
3. Sarah E. Auer Western County Swimming Pool Parking Lot
4. Poolesville United Methodist Church parking lot

Road closures in Poolesville

During the Poolesville Day Festival, several streets will be closed from 7 a.m. to 5 p.m. Only vendors, artisans, food trucks and parade participants with passes will be allowed in. Street closures include:

• Fisher Ave (Route 107) at Elgin Road (Route 109)
• Cattail Road at Doctor Walling Road
• Norris Road at Wootton Avenue
• Elgin Road at Wootton Avenue
• Entrance to the shopping center on Fisher Avenue

Additionally, there is no driveway behind Tractor Supply and no parking behind M&T Bank.
