Two people arrested after reports of possibly armed suspects at Marion High School, Marion police say | News

MARION, Arkansas – Police responded to Marion High School after receiving reports of possibly armed individuals on campus.

According to police, no weapons were found on the suspects or on the school premises.

The full post from their Facebook page reads:

“The Marion Police Department, with assistance from the Arkansas Highway Police, Arkansas State Police, West Memphis Police Department and Crittenden County Sheriff's Department, responded to Marion High School for a report of possibly armed individuals found on campus. The individuals were located and arrested shortly after units arrived on scene. The scene is secured and no injuries were reported. We are working with the Marion School District Director of Safety to release the students to their parents. A full press release will be issued later this afternoon.”
