Anniversary of the sensational UF murder case

GAINESVILLE, Fla. (WCJB) – Today marks the eighth anniversary of the disappearance of UF student Christian Aguilar, who was murdered as a result of a love triangle gone wrong.

In 2012, Pedro Bravo killed Aguilar in a crime of rage and passion and then buried his former friend's body in a shallow grave in Levy County.

According to ABC News, Aguilar dated Bravo's ex-girlfriend Erika Friman, but kept the relationship a secret.

When Bravo found out about this, he gave up his friendship with Aguilar and killed him by poisoning and strangling him.
