Fargo man arrested for murder in fatal shooting

FARGO, ND (Valley News Live) – A man is in jail following a fatal shooting early Saturday morning in north Fargo.

Fargo police responded around 1:15 a.m. on Saturday, September 21. They say the shooting occurred outside a residence in the 1300 block of 8th Avenue North. Officers who arrived at the scene discovered a man who had been shot.

The suspected shooter, Tyreik Taylor-Roberts, who lives at that address, was arrested without incident. A weapon believed to have been used in the shooting was recovered at the scene. Fargo police admitted that Taylor-Roberts was the shooter.

Police say the circumstances leading to the shooting are unclear, but investigators have secured the area and are actively investigating.
