Woman shot in Newnan gun shop, suspect arrested – WSB-TV Channel 2

NEWNAN, Georgia – A woman was shot and killed at a gun store in metro Atlanta Friday night, according to the Georgia Bureau of Investigation.

According to the GBI, Newnan police officers were called to Oz Tactical on East Court Square shortly before 9:30 p.m. for an unknown problem. Before they arrived, the call was upgraded to shots fired inside the store.

When they arrived there, they found 28-year-old Olivia Faith Robinson dead: she had suffered a gunshot wound.

Investigators later determined that 38-year-old William Brannon Owens shot her. He was arrested and is in the Coweta County Jail on charges of murder and aggravated assault.

It is unclear whether Robinson and Owens knew each other.
