Holly is the Friday and Saturday night meteorologist for FOX6 News.

Holly was born and raised in Dothan, Alabama, known as the “Peanut Capital of the World.” From an early age, she was inspired by her grandparents. They told her to look out the window every Sunday morning to tell them what the weather was like so they would know how to dress for church. As she grew older and learned more about science, she became more and more fascinated with the weather. She continued to update her grandparents daily on the local weather.

Holly received a Bachelor of Science degree in Meteorology with a minor in Mathematics from the University of South Alabama in Mobile, Alabama in 2022. Holly Baker is a proud member of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority Inc. Additionally, she is a member of the National Association of Black Journalist (NABJ), where she serves as Vice Chair of the Weather and Climate Task Force. Holly is also a member of the American Meteorological Society (AMS).

In her free time, Holly enjoys making the weather more appealing to local students through her franchise business. “Getting hot with Holly.” She also enjoys cooking gourmet meals and home cooking, reading, taking professional photos, swimming, shopping, traveling, and spending time with her family and friends.

Baker says she is “so excited to join the FOX6 weather team at WITI! I'm looking forward to experiencing the different weather events that occur in Milwaukee. Trying all the food, experiencing city life, and weathering the storms… This is the moment I've been waiting for.”
