In Northern Missouri, eight arrests are made by patrol officers from September 17 to 21, 2024

The Missouri State Highway Patrol recently released a report detailing the number of arrests in Northern Missouri between September 17, 2024 and September 21, 2024. The report states that a total of eight people were arrested during this time period. The reasons for these arrests range from drunk driving to warrants for suspended license and traffic violations.

Harold A. Garciaa 27-year-old man from the Republic of Cuba, was arrested on September 17, 2024 at 10:14 a.m. in Nodaway County. He was charged with several misdemeanors, including a warrant for driving while license revoked or suspended from the Maryville Department of Public Safety, a warrant for expired license plates, and a warrant for a Nodaway County traffic violation. He was also charged with no driver's license. Garcia was held at the Nodaway County Sheriff's Department and was released on bail.

Joe D. Hamiltona 46-year-old man from Clearmont, Missouri was arrested on September 18, 2024 at 9:25 p.m. in Nodaway County. Hamilton was charged with driving under the influence and causing an accident. He was also charged with driving while his license was suspended. Hamilton was released for medical treatment shortly after his arrest.

Dylan J. Despaina 32-year-old man from St. Joseph, Missouri was arrested on September 19, 2024 at 3:12 p.m. in Buchanan County. Despain was charged with driving while suspended and speeding. In addition, he had a Buchanan County warrant for driving without a new license after it had been revoked or suspended. He also had a St. Joseph Police Department warrant for failure to appear in court for operating a motor vehicle without financial responsibility. Despain was held on bail in Buchanan County.

Ana L. Velasqueza 24-year-old woman from Fort Wayne, Indiana was arrested in Harrison County on September 20, 2024 at 11:01 p.m. Velasquez was charged with driving under the influence, lack of financial responsibility, and reckless and careless driving. She was held at the Harrison County Law Enforcement Center for 24 hours.

Nathan W. Kinga 20-year-old man from Chillicothe, Missouri was arrested in Livingston County at 12:47 a.m. on September 21, 2024. King was charged with DUI and driving with an expired registration. After his arrest, he was fired from the Livingston County Sheriff's Department.

Douglas A. Purkeya 29-year-old man from Moberly, Missouri was arrested in Randolph County at 12:08 a.m. on September 17, 2024. Purkey was charged with DUI and failure to register a motor vehicle. He was held at the Randolph County Sheriff's Office for 12 hours.

Jeffrey D. Blanka 64-year-old man from Silex, Missouri was arrested in Randolph County on September 20, 2024 at 8:37 p.m. Blank was charged as a repeat offender with DUI. He was held in the Randolph County Jail and later released.

Austin J. Kohlheppa 25-year-old man from Hannibal, Missouri, was arrested in Marion County at 1:29 a.m. on September 21, 2024. Kohlhepp was charged with driving under the influence. He was released into the custody of the Hannibal Police Department shortly after his arrest.
