Twins and Red Sox play a split doubleheader at Fenway on Sunday

The Minnesota Twins' game against the host Boston Red Sox on Saturday was postponed due to persistent rain showers.

The game originally scheduled for Sunday at 1:35 p.m. was moved up to 12:35 p.m. and Saturday's contest was rescheduled to the second game of a split doubleheader beginning Sunday at 5:35 p.m.

Red Sox right-hander Nick Pivetta (5-11, 4.37 ERA) is scheduled to pitch in the first game against Twins right-hander Pablo Lopez (15-8, 3.84).

Boston's Kutter Crawford (8-15, 4.19), who was scheduled to start on Saturday, will now pitch in the second game on Sunday against Minnesota rookie and also right-handed Zebby Matthews (1-3, 6.30).
