Colorado football quarterback Shedeur Sanders scores rushing touchdown against Baylor

It took over three games, but the Colorado Buffaloes finally scored their first rushing touchdown of the 2024 season.

After a pass interference call set the Buffs' offense in motion at Baylor's 2-yard line, CU quarterback Shedeur Sanders faked a handoff to freshman running back Micah Welch before firing the ball home himself. The first-quarter score gave Colorado an early 7-3 lead over the Bears, who soon answered with a touchdown drive of their own.

At the time of this writing, Baylor leads the Buffs 10-7 on a rainy Saturday night at Folsom Field.
