Lincoln man arrested for drunk driving after car crash

LINCOLN, Maine (WABI) – A man was arrested following a car crash in Lincoln.

Shortly before midnight on Friday, 27-year-old Kyle Holcomb was arrested after causing an accident while driving while under the influence of alcohol.

According to Lincoln police, Holcomb was driving a gray Ford sedan when he crashed into a rock.

The department said Holcomb drove from Hale Street onto Enfield Road toward Penobscot Valley Hospital.

There were reports of significant damage to private property on Hale Street.

Holcomb was released on bail and prohibited from drinking or possessing alcohol. He was subsequently arrested for driving under the influence, aggravated criminal damage and violating conditions of release.

He is being held in the Penobscot County Jail pending arraignment.
