Kim Kardashian's lawyer 'demands' cease and desist from social media user over claims related to Diddy's infamous tapes

A user recently posted a video on X claiming that Kim Kardashian was involved in the infamous Sean “Diddy” Combs recordings and is under investigation by the FBI. Diddy was arrested in Manhattan on Monday night and later charged with sex trafficking, organized crime and transportation for the purpose of prostitution. The arrest came after several lawsuits were filed against him accusing him of sexual abuse and violence, including the first from his ex-girlfriend Cassie Ventura.

Kim Kardashian's lawyer sends cease and desist order

A user of the social networking site X shared a post with images of a cease and desist order from SKIMS owner's attorney Christina Davis. The user received the order in the email after posting that Kim was under FBI investigation for his involvement in Diddy's infamous videos. The user accused the billionaire of extortion and drugging men and may have been involved in the infamous recordings.

The post read: “Kim Kardashian's attorney requested a cease and desist from me after I posted a video in which someone implied that she may be under FBI investigation for extortion, drug abuse, and possible involvement in the infamous Diddy tapes.”

However, the user stated that such orders were “nothing” and he would continue to speak out on the matter. The caption added: “Your threats and intimidation are pointless – nothing can stop what is unfolding right now. Let me be clear: if I suddenly go silent, I am not suicidal.” The caption ended with “I have now become a target of Balenciaga's most powerful partner.”

The alleged order from Kim's attorney read: “I am Kim Kardashian's attorney and I request that you immediately stop posting false and defamatory statements about my client on the X-account @ShadowofEzra.” It also referenced the post previously shared by the user that led to the order being sent to him.

It continued: “Your claims that Ms. Kardashian has committed or is involved in crimes or is being investigated for such crimes are categorically false and illegal.” It also called for the immediate removal of the video accusing Kim, otherwise “Ms. Kardashian will take legal action against your defamatory statements.”

Internet users react to the order

Netizens were quick to react to the cease and desist order, allegedly sent by Kim's lawyer. One user wrote, “I'm not saying this is fake but it is fake.” A second user wrote, “This is literally the fakest thing you could post. Your email address is LMFAOOO – people are such idiots they really believe anything and everything eh.” Another user wrote, “To be honest, even though this is a pretty shady account, the cease and desist order made me reconsider because if it wasn't true then why not ignore it like other stupid rumors and nastiness on the internet.”

While one user believed the order, writing on X, “Balenciaga the fashion house that released children and BDSM bears… Supporting Kardashian hiding from the issues with Diddy…”, another user wrote, “YOU KNOW WHEN THIS GAMER TYPE STARTS MAKING THREATS YOU KNOW YOU ARE OVER THE TARGET! ACTIONS LIKE THIS PROVE THE POINT AND THE LOGIC IS EXPOSED!”
