ABQ woman accused of killing man with boyfriend in 2023

ALBUQUERQUE, NM (KRQE) – An Albuquerque woman is facing murder charges in connection with a killing that occurred last April.

According to the criminal complaint, Albuquerque police responded to a home near Central between Louisiana and Wyoming in April 2023. A man was found dead in the home.

It was originally believed to be an unattended death, but last week the lawsuit said the cause of death had been changed to homicide.

Police believe Jasmine Trujillo, who lived with the man, planned to rob him. She claimed she brought her boyfriend, identified as Jarrett Chacon, to the home with her. Police reported the two were seen leaving the home in the victim's car shortly after the victim was presumed murdered.

Trujillo was taken to the MDC and is accused of murder. An arrest warrant is currently out for Chacon.
