Boise State faces Portland State tonight in the first home game of the 2024 season

Boise State will play its first home game of the season tonight, with the Broncos taking on the Portland State Vikings on the blue side.

The Broncos are clear favorites going into the matchup, with bookmakers giving them a 41.5-point lead. Portland State has struggled this season, losing its first two games, including a 70-30 loss to Washington State and a 43-16 loss to Weber State.

The Broncos will look to continue their strong start, led by standout junior running back Ashton Jeanty, who has rushed for 459 yards and nine touchdowns in just two games. The last time these teams met, Boise State dominated with a 45-10 victory in 2019.

Kick-off is scheduled for 7:45 p.m. and the weather forecast is for clear skies. Fans are advised to bring a light jacket as temperatures may drop during the second half of the game.
