1 dead and 3 injured after fatal accident this morning

The identity of the person killed will not be released pending notification of next of kin, GSP added. One person is dead and three others injured after three vehicles collided at the intersection of Ga. Highway 144 and Ga. Highway 57 in Glennville Sunday morning.

According to the Georgia State Patrol (GSP), the accident occurred around 0:30 a.m.

According to authorities, one person died at the scene and three others were taken to area hospitals with injuries. Their condition is unknown, GSP said.

While rescue workers worked to recover the wreckage, the intersection was completely closed for several hours.

The identity of the person killed will be kept secret until next of kin are notified, GSP added.
