Seneca Falls man charged with crime after domestic incident involving children

According to local police, a 35-year-old man was arrested Friday evening following a domestic incident at his residence in the city of Seneca Falls.

Paul R. Sturiale, of Seneca Falls, was arrested at 8:47 p.m. after officers responded to a report of a disturbance. During the incident, Sturiale allegedly got into a verbal argument and damaged a window in the residence while two children were inside.

Sturiale was charged with aggravated family offenses, a felony, along with two counts of endangering the welfare of a child and one count of fourth-degree criminal damage to property, both misdemeanors. He was arraigned and taken to the Seneca County Law Enforcement Center to await arraignment.

No immediate information was given about the well-being of the children affected.
