Much-needed rain chance on the way – Indianapolis News | Indiana Weather | Indiana Traffic

INDIANAPOLIS (WISH) – Central Indiana saw a few showers Friday night, but chances of rain are higher in the coming days.

TODAY: A dense fog warning is in effect for most of the area until 9am. The rest of the day will be partly cloudy, with highs of just over 35 degrees.

TONIGHT: Skies will remain partly cloudy. Lows between 18 and 20 degrees.

TOMORROW: Showers are likely, bringing much-needed rain to the area. The arrival time of these showers in the metro area looks to be midday. The showers will continue through the afternoon and evening. If you're heading to the Colts vs. Bears game at 1 p.m., be sure to expect wet weather on your walk. Highs around 25 degrees.

7-DAY FORECAST: Scattered showers are possible on both Monday and Tuesday. Most locations will see 0.5-1 inch of rain Sunday into Monday. Tuesday could be really wet once again, with widespread precipitation opportunities, which we'll know more about as we get closer. Temperatures throughout the work week will be limited to 70 degrees behind this cold front.
